There are many descriptions of what a vintage car is but the most widely accepted definition is that there is a group of old automobiles that came to production in the years of 1919 – 1930. Most car enthusiasts will also tell you that a car is only as good as its engine.Vintage cars have engines that require much detail in terms of being cared for.They require regular checkups,the advantage though is that the vintage car engines are easy to work on than the new engines for the mere fact that they are less complicated than their successors.Today we dive into the various ways one can ensure care for his or her vintage automobile.

This is mostly due to the fact that Vintage cars have old-school engines. One should also change the engine oil very regularly this is due to the fact that the heavy grade engine oils tend to get contaminated at a faster rate.Rather than using mileage as an indicator for time to change the engine oil, one should use the time in crankcase technique to the oil change.
